This list of basic rules will continually be updated, so we recommend you check back once in a while. Failure to follow the rules set forth below will be met with appropriate action.

No Links to Unlicensed TAB Sites
Since MXTabs's goal is to get licenses from as many music publishers as possible, we do not allow any links to be posted to external web sites that offer unlicensed content. This includes pretty much every other TAB web site currently available. If you want to find other ones, use google or another search engine.

No Posting of TABs
Please do not post any tabs in the discussion forums. If you'd like to post a comment or question on a tab we currently have up, please do so in the comments section of that particular tab display. That's what it's there for. If you want to post TAB of a song that you wrote or own the actual copyright of, that is allowed - but by doing so you are also licensing MXTabs to display that tab on our site.

Try to Be Nice
We're sure people will flame each other once in a while, but please try to be nice to one another. If things get out of hand we'll take action... and as for what we mean by "out of hand" - well, that really probably depends on our mood. So you're better off not trying to push the boundaries.

No Links to Porn, Illegal Software, etc.
If it's illegal or you think it might be illegal, don't do it. Simple as that.
