I'm the Community & Content Manager for MXTabs. Feel free to contact me if you have any comments or suggestions.

Music has always been a very big part of my life. I'm a classically trained pianist and I received a degree in Music Theory in 2004, but I've always been equally passionate about popular and traditional music.

I began playing acoustic guitar about 6 years ago and I occasionally jam with friends. I'm also an avid hiker, and I'm currently writing a screenplay for a film that I would like to independently produce someday.

Hey, is there a certain way that we can ask a band on say myspace to give rights to display tabs here on mxtabs?

Yeah, I'm kinda growing my hair out just a tad, not really long but kinda mid length maybe. It's definitely easier to style short though.

wow that is sweet. Thanks. I remember the sixth post on my wall, which inspired me to start tabbing. Most of the tabs I've done were long time contributions of me figuring out songs I want to play. (with some help from the two guitarists that convinced me to start playing guitar.

Hey thanks, I haven't been that busy lately. I've always wondered if it was you who goes through them and makes sure that they have licensing permission and the right licensing permission.

I have a question. A while ago I submitted a version of canon rock. It hasn't appeared yet, but tabs I submitted after it have. I don't think there's licensing issues because it was in response to a crappy version that did appear. Here's the link:

Hey man I don't mean to be paranoid or anything, but I submitted a couple tabs a week and a half ago, and they still haven't shown up in limbo, but my first tap only took a couple days to show up. Should I be worried?

If by steam you mean it's out of control, then you'd be right about the drum tab requests.
