The first riff should be played twice.


The second riff should be played twice. If you listen to the opening of the song, the bass doesn't really start for two cycles of the guitar riff.

f sharp (9th fret) in verse could be played on the d string (4th fret). just wondering if anyone has seen him play this live. seems a long stretch and you know us bassists like to keep in one position if we can. does anyone else find this more comfortable?





a sharp in chorus (8th fret) could also be played on the g string (3rd fret). this gives it much more clarity and again is much easier fingering.

I think that on the intro you play that twice through, and not hold each one out as long.
