here we go..

C F
The First Day of fall is the last day I'll kiss the sky
Am
The cold air surprises
F
my bones have been spoiled by the summer's heat
x x x C F
The sun hides its face, and I'll hide mine too
Am
Sooner or later
F x x x
this winter will rain down and leave me to wait for one year.

G F
I'll be there,
G F
I'll be there
G F
Next year this time, I'll be there.
G F*
I'll dream of the past, and wish that I was there (I'll be there).

C, F, Am, F.. while another guitar plays

e#----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B#----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G#----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D#--12\\10-10-10--10\\9-9-9--9\\7-7-7--7\\5-5-5--5\\3-3-3--3\\2-2-2--2/3-3-3--------|
A#---------------------------------------------------------------------3-3-3--|
E#----------------------------------------------------------------------------|

e#---------------0----------------------------|
B#-----------------3-1-0----------------------|
G#-----------------------2-0------------------|
D#---------0-2-3-------------3-2-0-----0-2----|
A#--0-2-3--------------------------3-3-----3--|
E#--------------------------------------------|

then three hits on dead strings for timing and go back into it

C F
I am burning the letters of days gone by
Am
I'm sorry,
F x x x
but I'm scared that my heart will regret all the things that I've done
C F
Breathe in all of the ashes of my mistakes.
Am
Gently collapse
F x x x x x x
so no one will notice you're falling too short of your breath.

Am* F*
I've wasted more time.. dreaming than living.
Am*
I've wasted more time .. F* dreaming.
Am C F G Am C F G
I'll be there, I'll be there
Am C F G
So cherish these days, enjoy every breath like it will be the last of your life.
Am C F G*
Never look back, and never look back because you won't forget why you cried.

thats about it.. there are two guitars.. im not sure about all of the second guitar,
if you want to play it with two i recommend listening to the song for yourself
and seeing what you can come up with.
the the big part where the second guitar is obvious is during the chorus.. he plays a variation.
then you can hear it in the backgroung playing this i think

e#-------3---------3--|
B#-0h1p0-----0h1p0----|
G#--------------------|
D#--------------------|
A#--------------------|
E#--------------------|

pretty simple eh?

anyways i hope this tab was sufficient.. thanks to anTHONGny at ultimate guitar.com
