Your tabbing is perfect however guitar 1 is actually a 12 string acoustic, although it could be played on electric with chorus. If you watched live8 they played that song and it was amazing. They used all acoustic(even acoustic bass) and that section was played by a 12 string.

Aren't there a few G strums before the first verse?
