T= tap

this is my first tab so bare with me as i may have misinterpreted
some of the notation.....just about all of its right (97%)its better than others
here anyway (no offence)

if there are two slides shown after the 5s 8s 3s its just mxtabs..it wont let me put just 1
for some bizzare reason

by the way if u have noticed on the vid the higher notes of the chorus are tapped (youll notice where if not mail me for the details)
thanks those who wrote to tell me about the vid

make sure u check out the rest of my mudvaynes tabs as well :)
thanks anyway

Very good tab...except the Chorus...

Ryan is playing the same things like the intro... and puts some tapping in the other things...

*bad bad english -,-*

go mtv.com and see the Video...

Very Very good tab anyway ^^

yea, there definately is tapping in this song. he looks like he designates his index finger to fingering the notes, and then up to 3 of his other fingers to tap mutes on the higher strings. he also switches up and sorta pops some notes above it. the base of the riff is perfect, but you gotta include all the other messin around over it, cuz that's what makes this bassline better than your average bassline.
Chrishi87Chrishi87 Unknown Date
I played and Played it and i finaly know how he is doing the Chorus... the Tab Chorus is Correct... he plays the things but he tabs it with his Finger in the 12 Line *i dont know what this is in English -,-*
SeryonXSeryonX Unknown Date
He uses his left hand to make the notes, then uses his right hand to heavily tap on the neck where it makes an octave, kinda simulating the effect of a wah peddle. (Check interview at www.bassplayer.com for his interview and he explains how he does it)

Claiming its harder to play a 5 string than a 4 is a bod damn statement. I play 4 and it doesn't really matter how many strings you have as long as the notes are correct.

And your comment about the price of a 5 string. Thats kinda silly, it's not how much your bass costs that's important, you ass, it's how you play it. I coulod give an expensive 5-string to my dog, don't make him a good bassist. Cliff Burton (R.I.P.) used an Aria Pro II bass for the majority of his recording and we all know he was a great bassist.

P.S. he used a 4-string

Right on, yomchi my man!

I still cant get over the fact that this guy says a 5 string is harder to play... I mean, you chuck on an extra string and it's all of a sudden a huge undertaking... can any of you see what I'm getting at cos this "luvthejews" guy is just being ridiculous in my opinion.

i agree with the people on the 4-string side. yes, i own a 5-string. well that doesnt mean you use all 5 strings. he uses a 5 in the video but you can zoom and whatever else all you want. he never uses the B string. you want to play it on the b string? have fun!! if you think you are so much better because of the 5th string, you need to convert the tab from 4 to 5 strings yourself. (i dont tink of myself as being better just because i have a 5th string)
BassPlayer1133BassPlayer1133 Unknown Date
I play a 5 string fretless bass and I rock at it. 5 strings r easy to get the hang of...as is the fretlessness
funkmetalbassistfunkmetalbassist Unknown Date
He does you a five string bass, but it makes no difference cause it is tuned gcgcf and since both his four and five string basses are the same (warwick)it doesnt matter whch one he uses.
ihaveafakeleg101ihaveafakeleg101 Unknown Date
Jews is a fukin dumbass, i play a 4 string and it sounds just the same, if u wanna play the song then convert it to a 5 string and stop complaining
