I am 100% Sure this tab is correct.

*    I have looked at the Green Day tab book. I can\\'t put this any more blunt than this, *
* the tab book is wrong. Billie Joe and Jason White had no partaking in making the book  *
* (If you actually read the tab book) and therefore the way they play it can differ      *
* from that of the tab book. The tab book is published by Warner Brothers with           *
* \\"special thanks\\" to Rob Cavallo (their producer). However, the way Green Day plays     *
* Holiday is different, like I say in the next paragraph, if you are really feeling      *
* lucky, then follow the link I put in the next paragraph and watch the video to get     *
* proof. You will see that Jason White plays with four fingers on the first note,        *
* then three fingers on the next three notes. The thing about the intro is you HAVE      *
* TO PLAY EVERY STRING EXCEPT THE LOW E!!! Otherwise, you will not get the distinct      *
* and correct sound that you hear in the song. This is the exact way Green Day plays it. *
*    I just recently changed the intro and now the intro is 100% correct.                *
* Unfortunately if you believe it is wrong, then you are wrong because this is EXACTLY   *
* how Jason White plays the intro. If you think it is wrong after playing it, I am very  *
* sorry because no matter how wrong you think it is, either A) You\\'re guitar isn\\'t in    *
* correct tuning, B) You need to listen to the song again, C) You\\'re amp isn\\'t on the    *
* correct setting, D) You\\'re amp doesn\\'t put out enough to sound right or E) You\\'re not  *
* strumming correctly.I have had the luxury of going to all 3 American Idiot tours and   *
* I have personally watched him play this song. If you watch and Holiday video online,   *
* it will most likely show you when Jason White is playing the intro. An example of this *

this is a very good tab but i am not sure the interlude to the solo is correct. it is the bass line put into power chords. Otherwise, a perfect tab for the best green day song!

on the intro the d-string and the g-string are dead notes and in the verse and the chorus there are only two-note power chords and thats pretty much all that was wrong with your tab the solo was just right though so good job!

during the verses, the first power chord in a measure is the same as the first chord in the opening. if you listen closely you will notice this.
