What is this?
Fieldy uses a thumb-pinky slap technique that is prominent in most Korn songs.  In this song, I believe him to slap the [B] A-string while popping the [A] G-string notes.

PS There are supposed to be slides down during the Interlude, sliding down from 21 to 9 (hit string) then down to 3 (hit string) and back up. It looks a little weird because the slides got deleted during the posting.

Also, if you disagree that Fieldy plays the octaves pops, then just play it all on the B[A]-string as:

I just personally much more enjoy him popping the octaves following the guitars because it's much more fun playing it that way.
