of all the many chop uey tabs here....i gotta say this is probably the only one which is fully correct but just one thing...

since there are no low D or D#(Eb) chords ... is it really necessary to drop the E to a D besides the fact that its probably a bit easier to play...
PostalJive85PostalJive85Unknown Date
I dont think the chorus needs to change Chords so rapidly, it makes it way more difficult than the song really is..

Well, if you're not going to tune your guitar down a step to match the cd, then you can't hit the open string during the first choruses. Instead, you have to play the 5th fret on the low D string. Also, on the intro, you would have to leave the open A out if you don't tune down.

the intro can't work like that....the open a note only works if you are playing it with dropped c tuning and following the exact same way to play

you have to change that note to a lower note

the rest of the tab works tho...

yall r idiots:

the beginning goes like this on the low e string-333333/222222/555555/777777

and there is no mandolin in this song

the tuning is standard or drop d no c

anyone who wants this tab, theres another one on this site-use that one

there is a mandolin in this song i read it in a guitar mag.

It's impossible to play the song in Drop-D because of the open G string when in CGCFAD(in the intro, chorus, etc.). You'd get a sour sound playing it that way.
HaMsTrHaMsTrUnknown Date
WELL, NO YOU DONT REALLY HAVE TO DO ANYTHING. YOU JUST PLAY THE SONG AS IT WOULD NORMALLY BE PLAYED. SINCE THIS GUY TRANSPOSED IT FROM THE KEY OF G MINOR TO I THINK THE KEY OF A MINOR IF HE DID IT RIGHT. SO IT'S JUST PLAYED IN A DIFFERENT KEY. =\ SO THEREFORE YOU JUST PLAY WAT HE HAS IN DROP D TUNING. BUT IF YOU WANNA PLAY IT IN THE KEY OF G MINOR LEAVE IT IN C TUNING...
vacuumboy15vacuumboy15Unknown Date
I think you must tune the a-string down to a g.

first off, the reason u play the intro lke tht is because u play it in standard tuning. surely u have heard of alternative tunings? next u sed there is not a mandolin. there is.

also, i find it hilarious whne people say tht the songs aren't in drop c. darron himself has sed they all are, the official books which i have say they are and everyone else knws they are
SOAD420SOAD420Unknown Date
ok good tab but i have one correction and i know its right, in the first part its not 0 3

1 4

0, its 0

oh wait another thing, ur too far down by 3 frets on every note, and in the hevy part its down too far by one fret, other than that its good
