This song is awesome, look out for Hoobastank's new album in the future.
I think it is coming out in November but I'm not sure.
I'm pretty sure this song is supposed to played in Standard Tuning
but I think it's easier to play in Dropped D so that's how I tabbed it.
It's just my second tab so take it easy if it sucks.
I've recently updated the intro so you will notice a difference. To all
of you who corrected me saying my intro was incorrect, I have no corrected
it to how it should be so thanks a lot. After watching their music video,
I've discovered that those who told me that this song should be played in
open E tuning are also correct. In the video, Dan is playing the song in
the open E tuning which is [E-B-E-G-B#-E] I think. In that tuning, Dan
plays high chords power chords higher on the neck (around 10th and 12th
frets) rather than putting the root on the A string, so my tab is not
perfect right and needs some corrections. Soon when my damn exams are
over I will tab out a version in that tuning, which should be the correct
way to play it. Thanks everyone for your corrections.
