The intro is on the C and F, therefore all the notes you have on the G are 2 frets higher (pitch-wise). So what does sound good is:

Its sort of similar in style to spiders. Play it the way you have it, and its FAR too low.





Also on your verse and pre-verse etc, the 8-7-8 thing you have, thats too slow, its more like 8p7h8 or 7h8p7, but its worth playing the way you said if you dont get much sound from hammering and pulloffs.
